Welcome to Maccabi NSW Tenpin Bowling Club!

Our Vision

Our main vision is to continue the legacy of the current club into the future. Our current goal is to increase our membership by adding new and younger bowlers to ensure that legacy continues for future Jewish bowlers.

Maccabi NSW Tenpin is led by a dynamic committee of dedicated individuals – headed by Howard Silver, the Club’s longest serving President. Howard is extremely proud of the club, the committee that runs the club, and the club’s many achievements.

The club is extremely proud to hold an Annual ‘Greg Small Memorial Tournament’ that celebrates and remembers the life of tenpin bowler, Greg Small, who was tragically taken from us in the Maccabiah Games bridge disaster in 1997.

In addition, we run many other tournaments, like the NSW Jewish Open Scratch and Handicap Tournaments, our Traditional Mother’s and Father’s Day Tournaments, Baron Gold Knockout, and The Presidents Cup. The Club also regularly competes against other tenpin bowling clubs who share the Manhattan Superbowl facility.

Our league is registered with the TBA (Ten Pin Bowling Australia) and members can and do participate in TBA tournaments.

The Maccabi NSW Tenpin Bowling Club is one of the oldest Maccabi Clubs in Australia.

Starting in 1963, our club will celebrate our 60^th year in 2023 – a huge achievement. Over the years, there have been many changes and the club has utilised many alleys across Sydney. These days, our club is firmly based at our current location at Manhattan Superbowl in Mascot NSW.

Anyone that wants to have fun is welcome to join us at Maccabi NSW Tenpin Bowling Club. We bowl Monday nights at Manhattan Superbowl in Mascot with our dedicated members.

We’re a very inclusive league and cater to all levels of bowling ability. Everyone has an average that allows participants to compete on a level playing field.

The environment is safe and clean, with the centre recently completing major lane renovations -making it world class. Manhattan Superbowl is linked to Newmarket Hotel, which has a wonderful restaurant with ample seating. Bowlers can order meals before or after bowling in an easy and relaxed social environment.
